A Few Rules

Hello there, welcome. I hope you enjoy exploring Ghost's lore! I love my boy so much, and I hope that the information here leads you to love him too!

To get us started let's establish a few RP limits and notes!✧₊⁺ Discord, Googledoc, and in-game are all fine, just please be patient with my schedule as my life is very chaotic✧₊⁺ I don't do AU's with Ghost or enjoy changing him much. I can easily work around WoL and other MSQ things not coming up, but if his setting and role in it is an issue let's discuss something with another of my OC's!✧₊⁺ 18+ Only please, but do note I will only do platonic SFW relationships, apologies in advance for him being horribly unattainable.✧₊⁺ I don't mind dark themes or heavy plot points, but please don't blindside me with them. I also won't RP homophobia, racism, transphobia, anything relating to slurs (even fantasy ones honestly), and I have limitations on SA (even in reference).✧₊⁺ Please, NO DRAMA. I've been rp'ing in this game almost a decade, I've seen my fair share. I just want to enjoy my little guy, and your little blorbo, and happily write our delusions.✧₊⁺ Please don't make assumptions about Ghost, or try to take control of his actions or any other form of godmodding.✧₊⁺ Please tell me if the way I reply is overwhelming so I can adjust. I can get long winded, and I try and respond to all points in my replies, and sometimes that may become a lot.✧₊⁺ I can and will set boundaries and even walk away from an RP partner if the RP is becoming more stressful than fun, or uncomfortable in anyway. I also expect that you will do the same. It's nothing personal if it happens, sometimes things just don't work.If all of that looks agreeable then please feel free to reach out! Ghost has too many titles to be strictly comfortable at this point, so we'll just leave it at "he's friend-shaped". Aside from his shared duties as WoL with Aelin, he also leads a free company.His hobbies include botany, anything dealing with tea, seeing how different rocks taste (don't worry about it), and humming along to the music he always hears floating along the aether.Ghost is likeable, and generally approachable if not a bit aloof sometimes.

Pre-Game

Ghost's father left their village when Ghost was still a baby, taking Ghost along with him. He traveled the Shroud and La Noscea scraping by with small performances in various taverns and bars. One such establishment is where he met Ghost's stepmother. She scolded him for bringing a toddler to a bar, he explained their situation, she offered to help and their relationship launched from there. Ghost has a half-sibling, Vyncent, and the four of them lived just outside of Wineport after his Stepmother accepted a position there.A couple of years before the Calamity Ghost's father fell ill and passed, so he relocated to Gridania with Vyncent and his Stepmother and became involved with the Archer's Guild. Once the lead up to the Calamity began, Ghost and his Stepmother began fighting. She wanted all three of them to relocate again, on their own terms and not with a guarded group. Ghost insisted he wanted to stay and help but that the two of them should leave with a group. He arranged for them to be able to leave only to return home to find they'd left on their own without warning. He lost contact with them until Post Dragonsong.After the Calamity, amongst the aftermath, Ghost struggled with the sudden loss of his family which led him to start the groundworks for what would become the Free Company Astrum Aeternum. Eventually he would take a job on behalf of the FC that led him to La Noscea and right into the path of Y'shtola, resulting in him meeting Aelin (his literal other half), and joining the Scions.
